Schmidt patented probe design; a powerful tool for measuring air velocity
SCHMIDT Technology specializes in the flow sensors in the field of air and gases. With over 35 years of experience in the compressed air, clean room / pharmaceutical, industrial processes, and air conditioning sectors, we can provide you with perfectly fitting solutions for a wide range of measurement tasks.
Advantages of SCHMIDT® Technology Flow Sensors
SCHMIDT® Technology new launch the SS 20.415-Twin, SS 20.225, and SS 20.700 flow sensors, each featuring a unique probe design tailored for different environmental applications. These sensors offer distinct advantages based on their intended use. The SS 20.415-Twin enables independent regulation and monitoring of laminar flow, making it suitable for flow monitoring in cleanrooms and clean zones. The SS 20.225 thanks to the dumbbell technology, providing protection against dust and corrosive gases, making it ideal for ventilation, air conditioning, and industrial processes. The SS 20.700 is resistant to corrosive media and is designed for extremely demanding applications such as biogas.

Laminar flow measurement-Schmidt SS 20.415 Twin Duplex Laminar Flow Sensor |
|
The combination of two completely self-sufficient flow sensors made it possible to realize a redundant flow measurement at the same measuring position and to eliminate the mutual influence of the two probes. Both flow signals are delivered separately from one another via two analogue outputs. Thanks to the SCHMIDT® cleanroom-compliant quick assembly kit, the Duplex Flow Sensor can be exchanged for an existing sensor without any additional effort. |

Dust and corrosion resistance -Schmidt SS 20.225 Flow Sensor |
|
Thanks to its compact mechanical design, the SS 20.225 can be installed very easily via a flange or a compression fitting. Its electronics are housed in a separate small enclosure and the robust stainless steel sensor tube has a diameter of only 9 mm (radial: 360°, axial: ± 45°). Thanks to the dumbbell technology used and the high flow angle, the sensor can be positioned in the gas flow safely and quickly. In addition to detecting the standard flow velocity of 0.06 to 20 m/s, it also measures the temperature of the medium. |

The double-pin sensor head has been designed to meet the needs of so-called „heavy-duty applications” and, due to the sensor elements being completely encapsulated in stainless steel these are ideally suited for extremely demanding applications. The sensor is also resistant against aggressive media. |
